Turn your team’s ideas into useful experiments.
Give people a structured way to explore an opportunity, challenge assumptions and develop ideas the business can test. The workshop combines practical creative methods with a clear path from the challenge to the next action.
Create room to approach the problem differently
Teams often return to familiar answers when time is short or the first idea sounds workable. Useful opportunities can be missed because the challenge was framed too narrowly or the people closest to it were never part of the conversation.
We help the group examine the problem, explore different perspectives and develop a range of possible responses. The work connects creative thinking with the practical conditions of the business.
Build a method your team can use again
Participants practise framing a challenge, generating options, making connections and evaluating ideas. They learn to distinguish assumptions from evidence and identify what an experiment needs to establish.
Chief Consultant Nardus Oelofse co-authored Spark: Ignite Your Creativity. The workshop brings a practical interest in creativity together with the commercial decisions involved in moving an idea forward.
Choose the time your challenge needs
Choose a four-hour or eight-hour session, or a deeper programme over two days or four half-days, for 8 to 20 participants. The focus and outputs are agreed around the time available and your team's goals. The group works on an agreed challenge so the methods are applied to something the organisation wants to understand or improve.
We agree the participants, preparation and delivery arrangements around the challenge. Including a range of relevant perspectives helps the group explore the issue more thoroughly.
Leave with concepts and a way to test them
The outputs include a framed challenge, prioritised concepts, prototypes or experiment briefs, a 90-day action plan and methods participants can reuse.
An experiment brief identifies the idea, the assumption being tested, the evidence needed and the people responsible for the next step. This helps the team learn from a manageable piece of work before making a larger commitment.
Choose between capability building and a focused decision
This workshop suits teams that want to strengthen creative problem-solving while exploring a range of options. Spark Sprint is the more focused choice when a leadership team needs to resolve one persistent business problem and agree the next move.
Tell us the business need and the experience of the group. We can help choose the format that gives the session the clearest purpose.
Support beyond the session
Business and management consulting can connect workshop experiments with strategic choices, operational priorities and separately agreed implementation support.
Digital transformation can turn agreed process and systems experiments into a separately scoped implementation project.
Questions answered
Do participants need to consider themselves creative?
No. The workshop provides methods and practical exercises that help people contribute from their own experience. A useful group brings different perspectives and a willingness to examine its assumptions.
Can we work on a real business challenge?
Yes. An agreed challenge gives the session relevance and helps the group connect the methods with work it can take forward afterwards.
What might a prototype involve?
It could be a simple version of a service, a process trial, an offer concept or another way to test an assumption. The form follows the question the business needs to answer.
Can you help with the next stage?
Yes. We can discuss further facilitation, business consulting, brand and marketing work or systems delivery around the concepts the organisation chooses to progress.
